San Remo Towers has had a series of owners, including private families and corporations. Most recently, in April 2019, it was again put up for sale. In compliance with the Section 5 Right of First Refusal legislation, the owner offered it first to the lessees. A complex initiative to buy the property then ensued and, after a lengthy and detailed process, the purchase was completed on New Year's Eve 2019.
